A few kilometers from Arras, in the heart of Hauts-de-France, nestled in a 14-hectare wooded park, lies the Domaine Primordial.

Acquired in 2021 by Arnaud Poulain, this estate represents the realization of a childhood dream: a place he would gaze at as a child from the road across the way, where he sold vegetables alongside his grandfather. Passionate about history, his grandfather would tell him stories connected to the place: the mining era, wartime periods, and the silent marks left by the passage of time. Fascinated, Arnaud’s grandfather dreamed of discovering the inside of the estate but never dared to cross its threshold and meet its owners.

The day Arnaud learned the estate was for sale, he got on his bicycle and began coming to its gates every day to contemplate it, absorb the energy of the place, and wish he could acquire it.
